Good news! The Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto works exactly like the English Present Perfect: an auxiliary verb + a past participle. The structure is identical — just in Spanish.
English: have/has + past participle ➡ Español: haber (he/has/ha...) + participio (-ado / -ido)

The Formula:
HABER (conjugated) + PARTICIPIO (past participle)
Yo he comido / Tú has hablado / Ella ha vivido
Yo he comido / Tú has hablado / Ella ha vivido

Cómo formar el participio regular (Regular Participles):
To form the past participle of a regular verb, drop the infinitive ending (-AR, -ER, -IR) and add the following endings:
- -AR verbs ➡ add -ado (ej: hablar ➡ hablado)
- -ER / -IR verbs ➡ add -ido (ej: comer ➡ comido, vivir ➡ vivido)
Estructura de la oración (Negations, Questions, and Pronouns):
1. Negations: The word "NO" always goes before the auxiliary verb haber. You can never separate haber and the participio.
✓ Yo no he comido. ❌ Yo he no comido.
2. Questions: Simply add question marks. The structure remains the same.
✓ ¿Has visitado España? ✓ ¿Han terminado ellos?
3. Reflexive & Object Pronouns: Pronouns (me, te, se, lo, la...) MUST go before the verb haber. Again, never split the verb.
✓ Yo me he levantado temprano. ❌ Yo he me levantado.
✓ Él lo ha comprado. (He has bought it)
